About me
Hi, my name is Mara! I'm a social entrepreneur who loves finding solutions for real-life social and environmental issues that stop us all from advancing equitably. I think that triple-bottom-line businesses should be the norm and I'm committed to leading by example with our employment-based chocolate social enterprise!
Originally from Germany, I started the GOOD Chocolatier as a university project (in Vancouver, Canada) when I learned about Social Enterprises in one of my classes. I just had to give it a try. Today, 6 of our 9 employees are on the Spectrum and they have helped fuel our growth since 2018 by packaging our chocolate bars, as excellent customer service, and ecom personnel.
